About Us

The Intelligent Communications and Networking Technologies Research and Development Laboratory consists of a group of highly enthusiastic university professors and researchers with strong expertise in different areas relevant to communications, networking, and artificial intelligence. The lab was a result of an international collaboration among leading young scientists and engineers that are enthusiastic to changing the traditional structure of research laboratories. Its members believe that without the involvement of young and diverse collaborators from both the academia and the industry, the development aspect of research will never see the sunshine nor will there be a quick manufacturing process. Some of the research topics covered in iCNeT by its members include: Connected and Autonomous Vehicles, Blockchain-based Peer-to-Peer Energy Trading, Beyond 5G Communication, Next Generation Networks, Cooperative Solutions for Smart City Applications and Services, and Federated Learning Strategies.
